Training
Marling Lumber often sponsors training for its customers. For example, in May 2009, Marling sponsored deck clinics over a three-day period. In June, contractors gathered for a seminar on the Stimulus Packagee. The Marling staff maintain their product knowledge and quoting skills through vendor seminars and sales meetings. But in the end, the process of working on many projects makes experience the best teacher.
